Workshop Block

Here’s the progress I made at the workshop. I know it’s not even half a completed block but I’m always slow in classes and I’m pleased with how well I did sewing the two curved seams. Now I’ll focus on cutting the New York Beauty arc template more precisely and I’ll be happy :) . It was a great class and I will continue working on this quilt….I want to become comfortable with curves so I’m looking at this as my practice project.

Antique Block

Bonnie Hunter at Quiltville shares photos of old quilts and I love looking at them so I’m sharing this unusual block done with half square triangles (might be simple using large hst and cutting them similar to Delectable Mountains methods).
