Quilting

So I got a wild hair to “just do it”.   I decided there was nothing to fear about hand quilting and I didn’t need to take a class to learn so I’ve been practicing.  Here’s the back of my second practice piece.

This is all in preparation for hand quilting two wall quilts I’ve made.    The first one is from Oct 2003.  The kit was a gift from my SIL.  I remember working on the applique on a trip to Las Vegas one time.  In any case, the top has been languishing in a roll on my shelf (thus the rather wrinkled appearance in the photos below) already layered and basted.

The second project is not quite as old, well it was purchased in April 2003 so technically it is older but I didn’t start it until March 2007.  I’ll have pictures of it next time :)
