Scraps & Things
I had so much fun stuffing the bag (see previous post) that I asked my SIL to make special trip back to the Quilter’s General Store to do it all again when we visited a couple of weekends back
This time there were so many good pieces, I bought 2 bags!!! Again, many of them are Jo Morton fabrics and some with at least 1/4 yards. Fun, fun, fun!
Many of these strips are salvage to salvage, woo hoo.
My SIL also gifted me with many scraps, lots and lots of scraps. I was having so much fun sorting, folding and fondling all the scraps on the drive home that I might have gotten a scrap or two in this picture that was from the scraps bags but I think these are all from my SIL
We made pincushions from some of the scraps and here’s mine:
And last, but certainly not least, here’s a picture of the dish towels I “improved” as a gift for our hostess for the Quilt Show in Paducah. We stayed with a Paducah resident last year and we must have been good because she’s having us back this year.
Darlene & I leave bright and early Wednesday morning, 6:30 am to be exact and will go straight to the quilt show. Yipee!!
