Woo Hoo
As promised, here are pictures of my Paducah purchases (click to enlarge pictures). First, Olfa frosted rulers (the best I’ve used), a mini hand dyeing kit for 6 graduated gold fat quarters, some more Best Press (expensive so I use it sparingly but its fabulous stuff), chalk, soapstone & graphite marking implements, two different thimbles, back up surgical seam rippers (now with handles), three “hurt” books (one an older Gwen Marston), a 2009 show catalogue and a couple of other things ![]()
Here’s my fabric haul:
I snagged some solids at $1.49/yd, some Jo Morton’s for $4 and $5/yd and a couple of civil war prints for $3.50/yd too.
The big pieces were $3.50/yd and the rest were $4.00/yd. The pink and green fabrics are just too fun and I picked up some nice lights. The piece on the bottom left is one I already have but it’s a favorite so I took what was left on the bolt. The yellow one looks way better in person…love it, love it, love it!
Last, but definitely not least, earrings made from buttons from the 1950’s. Aren’t the bunnies fabulous?
And, of course, my new-to-me used Nolting long arm that will be coming the middle of May. Woo Hoo!!!
