BOM, Curtains & Halloween
The new First Saturday BOM, Asian Attitude, from the Quilted Fox started this month. Here are the fabrics and patterns for the BOM block and the alternate block. The solid cream color is a sateen and has such a nice luster. Guess I’d better get busy!
I’ve been working on curtains with lining for our kitchen window….
boring……
I like the star fabric but the curtains just aren’t working out. We had blinds previously and we’ll go back to them but maybe add a valance. The curtains won’t go to waste……we’ll hang them in a bedroom, but we will hang them.
I have a wedding shower to go to in a week and I like to give a gift of my own choosing. Gift registries are nice but I really like to do my own thing….. The wedding is in October so I’m making a Halloween table runner 
I’m thinking of adding a narrow border of white to set off the colors and then a 2″ border of one of the orange fabrics. I’ll have to see how it looks. Maybe I won’t do any borders at all…..I did mention the shower is in a week, right???
