I sewed the rows of Cards vs Sox blocks together.  Now it’s time for the really fun part….free pieced lettering!!

Here’s the alternate First Saturday block.  Seems like it should have gone together easier than the main block but it didn’t.  One thing I didn’t do was press my seams open and I think the added bulk of pressed to the side seams distorted the lawn background fabric.  I *might* take it apart and try pressing the seams open.
