Fabric Additions
Here are pictures of the fabric additions I had to include in my first 2010 stash report. First is the fabric I picked up at the Acorn Quilts fabric store in Rockford, IL. The fabrics are on my big board….don’t you love my ironing board cover

The two on the right are Spice Market and where on sale for 50% off. The two on the left are civil war reproductions and the one in the middle is a beautiful dark red which I plan to use for the solid alternate blocks in a small 9-patch quilt.
These are the pieces I ordered from Connecting Threads for $2.98/yard. These fabrics have a nice hand to them even after being washed. I want to hold my judgment of these until I’ve cut into them and see how they fray and stretch but so far they seem to be on par with other fabric lines. Funny, the one in the middle, Shooting Star, looks like it’s wrong side out but it isn’t.
