Thoughts for 2012

I left a comment for Jill on her blog Ramblings of a Fabric and Yarn Obsessor about New Year’s Resolutions.  Her only resolution this year is to use more stash.  That sounds like a good plan to me because I didn’t do well at all following through on Judy’s 2011 UFO Challenge.  My list is here. I pieced a few of the Moonglow blocks and that is it, as in nothing else on the list got done 🙁  Judy is hosting a 2012 UFO Challenge but I’ll sit this one out…..just like I did last year, apparently, lol.

So for 2012, I resolve to use more of my stash….further, I will limit my net stash in to 25 yards.  Now that might not seem right, letting myself have net stash in but I can’t go cold turkey!  For 2010 & 2011 I accumulated 105.5  and 88 yards respectively so limiting my net stash in to 25 yards will be really hard!!!  REALLY, REALLY hard.  And since I can’t post without pictures, here’s my stash:

Well, that’s most of it anyway 😉

Happy Quilting, Cherie

  1. I’m not good with accounting terms, but wait…doesn’t that mean if you use more of your current stash then you can buy more than 25 total in 2012, just so long as you don’t go more than 25 over your current amount?
