DWM Dec 3, 2012

It’s been pointed out that I haven’t blogged in awhile.  Let’s see, I went to CA to catch up with my DD and DGD, Miss Lily Bean, and we then went to visit my sister, neice, mother and father 😉  Here’s Lily eating pancakes made for her by her great aunt….

…..and check out how happy Miss Lily is…..

ADORABLE!!!!!!!

It was a fun visit and while nothing quilty was going on, I did snag some scraps from my mom’s scrap bag, woot.

My design wall has a few new things…..be sure to check out Judy’s DMW post for lot’s of other projects…… 😉

I’ve been catching up with the Grandmother’s Choice BOTW blocks.  Here’s #4.

And #7.

And #8.

Lastly, the First Saturday main block.

AAQI Dec Auction

The AAQI December auction is into day 2 now.  Here’s my pick for the highest bid Priority quilt:

11,953 – Double Wedding Ring

I think this quilt will have a high bid as well:

12,127 – 30’s Spring

I found the story behind this quilt compelling……the drawing is done by the maker’s sister who continues to sketch even through her Alzheimer’s disease.

11,994 – Forest Arch

I like these two Priority Quilts  as well and looking at current bidding, Fantasy Flowers could end up with the highest bid.

11,937 – Fantasy Flowers

11,992 – Sun Kissed Leaves

Check out the AAQI auction and the Priority Quilts for Sale, there is plenty of time to receive a Priority Quilt to give for a Christmas present 🙂
