I’m checking out other readers and many bloggers have gone to bloglovin…..I haven’t settled yet on what I’ll finally rely on when Google Reader is discontinued. I’m checking out Feedly, too. Time will tell…….
Happy April. I have a finished quilt, some stash and a new Grandmother’s Choice block to show….no fooling 🙂
I participated in Lori’s (Humble Quilt blog), 2013 Abundance quilt-a-long to reproduce a vintage doll quilt. Here is my version which I completed a while ago but couldn’t show until it was gifted to my fun SIL. I used fabrics from the 1800’s repo scrap bags I ordered from Homestead Hearth. Talk about fun 🙂
I finished hand piecing block #27, The Houghton’s, from Barbara Brackman’s Grandmother’s Choice BOTW. This is week 31 and I have 27 of the blocks completed so with only 18 more weeks, I am more than half way there 🙂
I don’t have much more room on my design wall for them…….
As for my stash report, well I only get to count the smallest of amounts out for my finish, darn! I have a couple of thrifted fabrics to add and my SIL gifted me with some fabrics as well.
Stash Report for 2013

- YTD Fabric in: 23 yards

Happy Quilting, Cherie
