It’s just plain freezing outside with a temperature of 13 degrees at 5:45 am this morning. With the wind, it feels like -4!! For those in climates where this is normal for weeks on end, you are hardy souls, for us in the Greater St Louis area, BRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrr. It seems appropriate the RSC color of the month is blue and here they are on my design wall. Pop over to Judy’s DWM post to what everyone else is working on.
I prepped the center piece of the Apple Pie Ridge block for the BBWQ. I’m sure I won’t finish it by Feb 1st but I’m going to try and catch up. The outside edges have been creased over the freezer paper (that’s been removed) leaving the edge wanting to fold under and I needle turn. For the inside edge I’m going to mark the turn line and cut away the fabric as I applique. Who knows, I might like that method better than my freezer paper way.
