I was checking back and see that it was the middle of August since I last did a Design Wall Monday post. Goodness!! I’ve had a sample stack of small rectangle patches that I’ve been keeping for someday….so I’ve thrown them up on the design wall along with my brown RSC blocks.
In addition to the excitement which I talked about here, there’s been a bit more 🙂 I received two quilts back from Teri Kanyuck and, boy oh boy, did she do a wonderful job quilting them! The first one, Liberty, a wall hanging pattern in McCall’s Quick Quilts May 2005, is made with Cherrywood fabrics. I started this one in May 2009 and it was a flimsy for 5 years, VBG. Just need to trim and bind 🙂
The second quilt is a log cabin quilt, Summer Cabins and it’s 84″ x 95″. This one was started in May 2005 from a kit but I added additional fabrics to make it larger. Teri did a lovely job quilting it with feathers and another motif that kind of separates the blocks. You can see them pretty well on the back in this picture. I love it.
I received some gifted shirts from my friend Jan (thanks Jan!) Here they are all de-boned and ready to use. The two on the right really go together, don’t they 😉
I’m linking up with Judy’s Design Wall Monday post. Happy Quilting, Cherie
