I went surfing in my shirting scraps and found I don’t have many pinks and, of the ones I have, I wouldn’t necessarily call them watermelon pink but they will do 😉 Can I say I.LOVE.MY.STUDIO.CUTTER? Having the dog ears cut off the triangles makes it SO easy to sew accurate HST’s. The same with the speaky/pike (peaky/spike) triangle square pieces. It’s awesome! Oops, got a little off track there….here are my broken dishes blocks for July.

Acronyms, don’t you love ’em? I’m caught up on my Rainbow Scrap Challenge broken dishes blocks.
I finished up the April green blocks so they’ve joined May & June’s blocks on the design wall. I did a little calculating and if I want to make a queen/king size from these blocks with no borders, it will take approx 3 1/2 years at 4 blocks a month sooooo…….instead of two combos, I selected four, making a total of 8 blocks. I’m not sure about the large plaids….what do you think?

I’m catching up on the RSC blocks….finally. I snagged some new shirts that were perfect for June’s color….AQUA 🙂 Click over to Soscrappy’s Saturday link up.
I completed the orange blocks from April 🙂
I’m almost finished with the green May blocks……so I’ll be ALL. CAUGHT. UP.
Even though I haven’t blogged in a while, I have kept with the RSC challenge, continuing in 2016 with the broken dishes blocks. The color for March is purple:
The color for February was brown:
And January’s color was blue:
Just in time I’ve finished my lime broken dishes November Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks. Things have been busy at work and I’ve not had the mojo to sew lately. Soon things will settle down….just in time for the holidays, ha!
