You can see what other quilts have on their design walls by checking out Judy’s DWM post. My wall hasn’t changed since last week:
I did accomplish a few sewing related things however. I got the pinwheel parts for the 5th Pinwheel Party block,
added the rest of the cherries and started the leaves on the 5th Vicksburg block
and bought a new book that is fabulous…..oh, and bought a couple of Fox Tails 😉

Since I finished the AAQI Priority quilt, I’ve resumed working on the Vicksburg Free BOM. Here’s my progress on Block 5 and it’s looking a lot better than last time 🙂
With the completion of the AAQI Priority quilt, I’ve resumed work on the Vicksburg Free BOM. Here’s my start on block #5. Doesn’t look like much, does it? Just wait ’til the cherries and leaves are added!
I’m still working on the Vicksburg Free BOM…..I know, I know, they haven’t made even a mention lately. I selected the fabrics for the pieced blocks (block #3) last night. I really like the red fabric I picked for the star points….notice I took care to have the design going in the same direction 🙂 I have blocks 1, 2 & 4 completed and have block 5 already to applique but Dawn at Linen Closet Quilts has posted block 7 already!
I finished sewing the blocks and sashing on the Foxy Fassett quilt last night as well. It has it’s own name now….the frog quilt, lol. I’ll have to get a picture to show you why 😉
I finished the 4th Vicksburg BOM from Linen Closet Quilts. The pattern has circles on top of the ribbons but both I and DH prefer the block without the circles so it’s done 🙂 I haven’t completed the 3rd BOM, which are pieced blocks, and now the 5th BOM is out! It’s a really cute block but has lots of pieces.
Here are my other two blocks and I’m still not sure about the fabric I used for the flowers…….hey there’s the green fabric that lurked so long on my design wall 😉
